Franchise Development Expert Joins Postal Connections/iSOLD It

FRISCO, Texas —Postal Connections®/iSOLD It®, an emerging franchise company, announces the appointment of Robert G. Shaw, CFE, as the Vice President of Franchise Development. Shaw, a seasoned franchise executive, brings decades of successful work building franchise networks in the U.S. and internationally. Postal Connections/iSOLD It is a franchise network of 49 stores in 17 states offering packaging, shipping, printing and assistance selling items on eBay, Amazon and other websites.

Shaw leads domestic and international expansion of the concept that combines the traditional pack and ship stores with iSOLD It on eBay service for people to turn unwanted items into cash. Stores receive customer items then sell them online. The customer pays for the service only when their item sells. Franchisees typically earn a 30 percent sales fee based on the selling price. Shaw leads franchise sales of both the iSOLD It on eBay drop-off stores and iSOLD It@Home™ franchises.

“We could not be happier to welcome Rob to our team,” said Fred Morache, co-Director & Franchisor of Postal Connections/iSOLD It. “Rob is a distinguished player in the franchise business, both nationally and internationally with a great track record. He’ll be a great asset to our strategic plan to expand the franchise network.”

Prior to joining Postal Connections/iSOLD It, Shaw held executive positions in brands such as Mail Boxes Etc. (now The UPS Store), New Horizons Computer Learning Centers and founded Shaw Meridian, Inc., where he implemented successful strategies resulting in significant client business growth. Shaw has been instrumental in the growth of brands recognized in Fortunemagazine's “100 Fastest Growing Companies,” Forbes magazine’s “200 Best Small Companies,” Business Week's “100 Hot Growth Companies and Entrepreneur International Magazine’s Number One International Business Services Franchise.” Shaw has also received two prestigious President’s “E” Award from the U.S. government for his significant contributions to American franchise brands’ international success.

“Fred and I worked together at Mail Boxes Etc. building a collection of neighborhood service centers into an international network of pack and ship stores around the world,” said Shaw. “The unique business model that Postal Connections/iSOLD It offers immediately enticed me, and I was eager to join Fred and his team to develop the franchise far and wide. It’s a perfect opportunity to leverage my experience and expertise to help grow a brand that will have great success,” said Shaw.

Shaw joins Postal Connections/iSOLD It amid a dynamic phase for the brand. Postal Connections/iSOLD It offers a unique franchise opportunity by integrating the two concepts and offering them together for the price of one. Postal Connections has established itself as a leading provider of a wide array of business and personal services, offering convenient access to postal products, shipping with the leading carriers, mail receiving, freight, printing, creative services, copying, fax, passport photos, notary, shredding and other services. With the addition of iSOLD It, the nation’s primary service for selling merchandise on eBay, Amazon and other sites. Postal Connections/iSOLD It franchisees have two streams of revenue and offer new items and services that are hard-to-find, improving convenience and adding high levels of personalized service.
