ISSAQUAH, Wash. – 911 Driving School announced today the sponsorship of a standout local young CrossFit student athlete, Melanie Jump. Jump will be representing 911 Driving Schools by sporting branded workout gear during the Cascade Classic in Seattle on Saturday, September 22.
“Our commitment to the community does not stop with safe driving,” said Joe Giammona, CEO of 911 Driving School. “In addition to a tremendous amount of athletic talent, Melanie’s passion and commitment to CrossFit is inspiring. Her dedication and drive embody a spirit that we hope the community can look up to. We’re proud to support her as she pursues her goal of competing in the CrossFit games.”
Jump became involved in CrossFit by joining CrossFit PTV, a Redmond CrossFit Gym, when she was12 years old and immediately fell in love with the sport. Since then, she has competed in and judged multiple youth CrossFit competitions throughout Washington. As part of the sponsorship, 911 Driving School has covered expenses for all of Melanie’s registration and participation fees.
“Since I began attending the CrossFit games as a spectator a few years ago, I have been so inspired by how the hard work and dedication of the athletes competing paid off,” said Jump. “That’s what really motivates me to work hard and be committed to my CrossFit training at CrossFit PTV. I feel so grateful to have this sponsorship from 911 Driving School and CrossFit PTV to allow me to pursue my dreams and hopefully inspire the community as well.”
911 Driving School was created to inspire, educate, engage and motivate drivers to perform safely and responsibly behind the wheel through online, classroom, and behind-the-wheel instruction from current or former law enforcement officers. 911 Driving School has developed multiple programs for teen, adult, government and corporate fleet drivers that go beyond traditional driving lessons or driver’s education courses.
