Phoenix, Ariz. – Angry Crab Shack, a leading full-service Cajun seafood restaurant specializing in boiled seafood flavored with signature sauces, is giving back to the community with a donation of $26,000 to the Phoenix Children’s Hospital during their KTAR Give-A-Thon. The donation comes as part of the brand’s larger campaign which has raised $52,000 for the hospital over the past nine months.

“As an organization that embraces families, giving back to the community has always been a priority for our restaurants and our company as a whole,” said Ron Lou, founder of Angry Crab Shack. “Phoenix is our home and the community has been incredibly supportive to us over the years. The donations towards the Phoenix Children’s Hospital help to propel our community’s next generation and go towards helping those children in need.”

The $26,000 donation presented at the Give-A-Thon on August 16 included $16,000 raised throughout the restaurant’s third quarter in-store campaign. The campaign continues at all Angry Crab Shack locations through November.

"Angry Crab Shack has stepped up in a major way for Phoenix Children's Hospital," said Steve Schnall, Senior Vice President and Chief Development Officer at Phoenix Children's Hospital Foundation. "The restaurant's ongoing support for the children in our community allows Phoenix Children's to continue to provide the absolute best care to the patients at our hospital."
