FORT COLLINS, Colo. – PizzaRev franchisee Mark Venditto who in December 2017 opened the Fort Collins PizzaRev, a leader in the booming fast-casual pizza category, has acquired two existing restaurants in Boulder and Lafayette, Colorado. In addition to his just-acquired locations, Venditto, who has extensive restaurant industry experience, is currently in the site-selection process for his fourth PizzaRev.
“My first location in Fort Collins has been a huge success, so it makes absolute sense to expand my portfolio regionally,” said Venditto. “What sets PizzaRev apart is that it has established itself as a brand committed to doing things differently and delivering the highest quality product to diners – and that dedication to excellence drives traffic and is why I continue to invest in the concept.”
Speaking to the brand’s innovative approach, PizzaRev recently partnered with CAULIPOWER, the nation’s #1 one cauliflower crust pizza brand to bring the fan-favorite to more than 40 PizzaRev restaurants nationwide, adding to the Roman Thin, Traditional and gluten-free pizza crust options already a part of the innovative Craft Your Own™ menu. Through the partnership, PizzaRev also introduced the new CauliPOWER pizza which features basil pesto sauce, oven-roasted roasted cauliflower, goat cheese crumbles, freshly shredded mozzarella, cherry tomatoes and sliced onions, all on CAULIPOWER’s gluten free crust with fewer calories, sugar, sodium and fat than traditional offerings.
“Mark’s extensive industry experience is integral to successfully running the Lafayette and Boulder locations and continuing to grow our presence locally,” said Tyan Swanson, senior manager of marketing and franchise sales at PizzaRev. “He’s done a fantastic job establishing the Fort Collins location into the local hotspot for families and students, and will continue that at his new locations. Mark is an ideal franchisee we would like to find in every new market – an experienced multi-unit operator who will make PizzaRev a mainstay in his or her community.”
Notably, between Venditto’s three PizzaRev locations, he hosts more than 20 fundraising events a month, raising awareness and crucial funds for organizations such as The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, CASA of Larimer County, The Matthews House, and more.
Most unique to PizzaRev, and what enables the restaurant’s unprecedented speed of service, is the custom-built, 900-degree stone-bed oven. Guests watch the dancing flames in the background as their pizzas are fired to a perfect, Roman-style crispiness in less than three minutes. Exposed ceilings, concrete floors and natural tones will offer a minimalist yet inviting atmosphere, where the focus is on providing guests with an interactive pizza experience unlike anything they’ve ever had.
PizzaRev is also committed to creating rewarding and supportive relationships with franchisees like Venditto through robust corporate assistance, including training, marketing and operational support. The brand is currently accepting franchise inquiries from qualified restaurateurs with multi-unit operating experience.
