BOULDER, Colo. – A spirited three-day gathering of Homewatch CareGivers, LLC franchisees and their staff recently concluded and demonstrated the solidarity that lives within the company at every level.
The 2019 Homewatch CareGivers Annual Conference, titled “Innovating Together,” brought the organization together to celebrate the brand’s commitment to innovation, system-wide growth including year-over-year same-store growth that outpaced the industry average and its position as a leader in the home care industry. Individual franchisees from across the system were also recognized for their sales, revenue and caregiving accomplishments in 2018.
“This year more than ever before, I was struck by how much we set ourselves apart from the rest of our industry through the integrity and passion each of our franchisees demonstrate on a daily basis,” said Jennifer Tucker, COO of Homewatch CareGivers, LLC. “It’s a chance for all of us to learn from one another, to highlight the ways each individual is impacting their community and use it to enhance and grow our franchise system. Our conference is our opportunity to come together as a franchise family and really celebrate all that our owners have accomplished in the past year, including incredible amounts of caregiving hours provided and groundbreaking approaches to serving our mission.”
This year’s event featured reflections on how Homewatch CareGivers’ relationship with its parent company, Authority Brands, LLC, helped propel the home care company to new heights in 2018, setting the stage for even further growth in 2019.
Some of those points of investment include enhanced digital marketing capabilities, data protection solutions to ensure HIPAA compliance, a fully-integrated credit card vendor and a corporate membership in the Home Care Association of America.
The conference was also an opportunity for Julie Smith, outgoing CEO, to thank the franchise system for her time leading the brand, and to welcome Tucker to her new role as COO.
Homewatch CareGivers hosted several presentations on a shared vision for the future, which includes new platforms and technologies, new senior team leadership and new partnerships to enhance the quality of care.
The conference featured a series of presentations and panel discussions with topics on leveraging the brand’s proprietary Homewatch CareGivers Care+® software; supporting profitable growth for all franchisees; additional revenue sources through Medicare Advantage; and its partnership with PreparedHealth, which resulted in Homewatch CareGivers launching enTouch & DINA, platforms that improve communications with clients, families and referral sources, and analyze data collected to provide customized recommendations for improving care plans.
“Our franchisee conference this year was the perfect opportunity to step back and look across all the ways that Homewatch CareGivers is investing in our franchisees, the clients and referral partners throughout the industry,” said Jennifer Ramona, VP of Strategy & Healthcare Innovation, said. “Our franchisees are devoted to delivering superior health outcomes using revolutionary tools such as Homewatch CareGivers Care+. Their energy and enthusiasm throughout the conference is a testament to the entire franchise system’s dedication to innovation and quality.”
Franchisees were recognized with awards throughout the conference, with a final banquet bestowing honors on top-performing franchisees for sales and superior operations over the past 12 months.
Honorees from the conference include:
