Huddle House Team Announces Promotions, New Hire in Senior Leadership

ATLANTA – Huddle House, the nation’s most iconic hometown hub, where every conversation, sip of coffee and bite of home-style meals are savored and cherished, recently announced the promotion of two longstanding executives and the addition of a key team member. Troy Tracy has been promoted to Chief Operating Officer and Nathan Ballard to Chief Supply Chain Officer; and Sergio Perez has been hired as the chain’s first Director of Digital Marketing.

“It’s a proud moment for us to not only be able to promote Nathan and Troy, two key members of our leadership team, but to also continue to build our Marketing expertise with the addition of Sergio,” said Michael Abt, CEO of Huddle House. “We know all three members will strengthen our ability to provide our franchise owners with the solutions and support needed to grow their businesses and have a positive, meaningful impact in their communities. We look forward to leveraging their respective skills to drive growth for Huddle House in the months and years to come."

Tracy, who originally joined Huddle House in 2013 and most recently served as Vice President of Operations, has been promoted to Chief Operating Officer. With more than 15 years of experience in multi-unit corporate operations and franchise support with notable restaurant brands, his new role includes design and construction in addition to corporate and franchise field operations and training system-wide.

Ballard, who joined Huddle House in 2004 and is a 20-year veteran of the distribution industry, was most recently Senior Vice President of Supply Chain and has been promoted to Chief Supply Chain Officer in recognition of the extraordinary service improvements and cost savings he’s achieved in the company’s food, supplies and small-wares purchasing and distribution functions.

As Director of Digital Marketing, Perez brings more than five years of experience and demonstrated accomplishments with brands such as Church’s Chicken, Johnny Rockets and Garden Fresh Restaurants to this new role. Perez will lead all digital marketing efforts and will focus predominantly on expanding the brand’s digital solutions, and building awareness and engagement with customers in Huddle House’s markets across the country.

These positive additions to the brand’s leadership team underscore Huddle House’s successes in 2018 and its commitment to continued growth and evolution in 2019.
