CINCINNATI - Caring Transitions, a Cincinnati-based senior relocation, estate sale, and liquidation company, recently announced Ray Fabik as the new brand president. Fabik’s background in the senior space, combined with his experience in franchise growth prime him for his new role in expanding the Caring Transitions brand.
Prior to Caring Transitions, Fabik worked as a Vice President in the retail space developing teams to provide excellent eyewear and eyecare at LensCrafters and Sears Optical. He then went on to join Comfort Keepers, serving as Vice President of Operations and becoming an expert in the senior care industry. Fabik then moved to Growth Coach, where he became Chief Operating Officer, followed by president of the brand. He ultimately made the transition from Growth Coach to Caring Transitions, both Strategic Franchising brands, in February of this year.
“In my previous role with Comfort Keepers, I discovered my passion for working in the senior industry, not only with the clients, but with the passionate franchise owners who are making a difference for families every day,” said Fabik. “Caring Transitions has been helping these families in emotional circumstances for the past ten years, and I’m excited in my new role to continue expanding our impact and range of services amongst new generations.”
As the new brand president, Fabik will be tasked with setting a strategic five year plan for the company, along with aligning all communications amongst the corporate support team and the franchise system. In Fabik’s new position, he will be traveling across the country meeting with franchisees, employees and clients and discovering what makes the Caring Transitions brand successful, and how the company can find new ways to continuously improve. Fabik will also be implementing new plans for increased brand awareness, to make the public aware of Caring Transitions’ full service offerings and what the senior relocation industry is all about.
“Ray’s passion for our industry is what sets him apart from other leaders,” said Chris Seman, Chief Operations Officer of Strategic Franchising. “He has a strong vision for Caring Transitions and genuinely cares about everyone involved in the brand. We’re excited to welcome Ray as the new Caring Transitions president, and see what is in store for the brand under his leadership.”
Caring Transitions has over 200 locations in 40 states and is looking to expand its system through qualified franchisees that have a balance of high business acumen as well as a passion for helping others, especially the elderly.
