WEST PALM BEACH, FL, July 16, 2019 — Venture X®, a global shared workspace franchise, announced today the company has joined the Global Workspace Association. The Global Workspace Association (GWA) is a connection-based resource for shared space operators, workplace strategists, real estate investors and service providers to stay connected, current and competitive. Having Venture X join the GWA positions the brand with industry peers and provides additional industry resources to Venture X's network of franchisees.
"At Venture X, we are constantly looking to the future. How can we continue to not only meet, but exceed and anticipate the wants of the modern professional? By joining this group of like-minded companies in the Global Workspace Association, we are ensuring our franchisees have the tools they need to meet these goals," said Venture X President, Jason Anderson. "Joining the GWA is a vital step in the evolution of Venture X, and we're excited to contribute to this premiere network and utilize this platform to continue our trajectory of growth."
The Global Workspace Association serves as a connection point for future-focused flexible office space operators, landlords, service providers and end users. The constituents of the GWA are brought together to focus on helping people to work the way they want, when they want. Additional benefits of membership include access to a members-only Slack group and the monthly Coworking Council Series live webinar, a resource hub, discounted health insurance through Trinet, and the bi-annual industry benchmarking report.
"At the Global Workspace Association, we are very selective when it comes to our members. We look for companies who share our values of collaboration and innovation, and found Venture X to be a perfect fit," said Jamie Russo, Executive Director, Global Workspace Association. "We look forward to welcoming Venture X to our system and having them as a sponsor at our annual conference later this year."
Venture X will be a Gold Sponsor for the GWA Conference taking place Sept. 18 – 20, 2019 in Washington D.C. The annual conference serves as a platform to bring together a cross-section of workspace innovators to glimpse into the future, share best practices, make connections and build relationships. Attendees are focused on growing their coworking businesses and selecting technology and services to support growth. Venture X will be presenting a Learning Lounge session at the conference.
Venture X's membership-based model has seen rapid growth since its start in 2012, moving even faster in recent years through the power of franchising. With more than 80 signed locations in 25 countries, and a goal to open 15 locations in 2019 alone, Venture X is primed for industry dominance both internationally and domestically. Backed by the powerhouse United Franchise Group, a group of affiliated, award winning franchise companies and brands, Venture X has the support needed to grow exponentially in the coming years.
Many Venture X franchisees have backgrounds in real estate, finance, hotels or have experience as landlords. Currently the franchisor is seeking single-unit operators, with multi-unit development offered in the future. The brand's initial franchise fee is $79,500, with a total investment cost ranging from $1.1M-$3.4M.
