The Gyro Shack Introduces New LTO: The Gyreuben

BOISE, Idaho – The Gyro Shack, Idaho’s own homegrown brand renowned for its “Mediterranean on the Move” menu offerings, announced today a piquant new gyro option now available on its menu for a limited time only: the Gyreuben.

Available now through Aug. 31, the Gyreuben is The Gyro Shack’s Mediterranean twist on an American classic. Carefully crafted to achieve palate perfection, the Gyreuben combines savory gyro meat, caraway seeds, sauerkraut and zesty Thousand Island dressing – all topped with melted Swiss cheese and wrapped in a warm pita.

“We’re always looking for new ways to put a unique spin on our gyros and kick them up a notch,” said Doug Miller, CEO of The Gyro Shack. “There’s nothing quite like a reuben, and so we decided to take the deli classic and do what The Gyro Shack does best – make it into a gyro. The savory new Gyreuben option is unlike anything we’ve offered in the past, and I know guests will come to crave it.”

Fans of The Gyro Shack can now enjoy the Gyreuben at all ten locations through the end of August, in addition to the recently launched fries, rice bowl and salad options, as The Gyro Shack continues to evolve its menu to cater to customers’ fast-paced lifestyles and love for authentic, unique Mediterranean cuisine.
