Nashville, TN — Local entrepreneurs looking to run a business that makes a difference in the lives of Tennessee families will soon have to look no further. BrightStar Care, a national franchise specializing in providing A Higher Standard of Care in medical and non-medical in-home care services, has announced targeted development plans throughout the state. The brand has available franchise territories in Clarksville, Memphis and Nashville and is seeking qualified franchise partners to operate in each market.
Currently, there are four additional BrightStar Care locations open and operating in the state – Chattanooga; Sumner and Wilson Counties; Knox, Anderson, Blount counties; Bristol, Kingsport, Johnston. With a projected 28 percent increase of residents in the state who will be 65+ between 2019 and 2030, there is a growing need to provide quality in-home care services. The demographics and aging population paired with Tennessee being named #5 best state to retire in makes it an obvious and attractive market for BrightStar Care’s continued growth.
“There are currently territories available throughout the state and each are prime markets where the community needs our Higher Standard of Care for in-home services,” said Pete First, Vice President of Franchise Development. “Over the last few years, we’ve brought in several exceptionally strong franchisees in the state who have collectively raised the bar by providing unparallel customer service. We are eager to find local business leaders to build on this legacy and bring our first-in-class, quality homecare services to each development market.”
The average BrightStar Care location serves approximately 70 families. In addition to the number of clients the average BrightStar Care location serves, the average BrightStar Care location employs RNs, therapists, LPNs, CNAs, and HHAs as part of their care staff. In its search for qualified applicants to expand the brand in Tennessee, BrightStar Care is looking for educated men and women who are self-motivated and have a high level of business acumen. Prospective franchisees must have the ability to manage and lead a team but are not required to have a healthcare background. It is important to note that qualified prospects must have liquid assets of $200,000 or more.
“One of the great things about our franchise model, is that you don’t have to have previous healthcare experience,” said First. “The majority of our incoming franchisees don’t come from a healthcare background. We’re looking for business managers who have a strong passion for our brand, and an appreciation for providing A Higher Standard of Care services.”
BrightStar Care offers both medical and non-medical private duty home health care services, as well as medical staffing. Each BrightStar Care location employs a Registered Nurse Director of Nursing who tailors unique, personalized plans of care for each client and oversees a professional care team of well-qualified, experienced caregivers. The company began franchising in 2005, and has since grown to a $350 million system with more than 330 locations across the United States and Canada.
