HARRISBURG, Pa. – Soccer Shots, the children’s soccer program best known for its focus on character development was ranked No. 3884 on the annual Inc. magazine’s Inc. 5000 list, the most prestigious ranking of the nation’s fastest-growing private companies. This ranking represents the 6th time Soccer Shots has been named to the list, an achievement only 3% of companies in America can lay claim to. The list represents a unique look at the most successful companies within the American economy’s most dynamic segment—its independent small businesses.
Aimed at positively impacting children’s lives, Soccer Shots strives to be the best part of a child’s week through best-in-class coaching, communication and curriculum. Serving children ages two through eight, each franchise emphasizes having the best coaches in their communities, an exceptional customer experience including ongoing communication and an expert-approved curriculum that aligns with early childhood education standards.
“The companies on this year’s Inc. 5000 have followed so many different paths to success,” says Inc. editor in chief James Ledbetter. “There’s no single course you can follow or investment you can take that will guarantee this kind of spectacular growth. But what they have in common is persistence and seizing opportunities.”
Soccer Shots will now be associated with all the companies of the 2019 Inc. 5000, a group known to be very competitive within their markets. With staggering growth across all the companies, the 2019 Inc. 5000 achieved an astounding three-year average growth of 454 percent, leaving a median rate of 157 percent. Soccer Shots joined together with all of the 4,999 other honorees led to an aggregate revenue of $237.7 billion in 2018, accounting for over 1.2 million jobs in the last three years.
To qualify for the Inc. 5000 list, each company must have been founded and generated revenue by March 31st, 2015. As a U.S.-based, for profit, independent and privately-held company since December 31st, 2018, Soccer Shots secured their place in the list. In 2015, the list had a minimum of $100,000 in revenue; however, in 2018, the minimum was raised to $2 million.
“The strong culture and sense of camaraderie among Soccer Shots franchise partners has no doubt made the value proposition of the franchise opportunity much stronger,” added Justin Bredeman, CEO of Soccer Shots Franchising. “When you invest in Soccer Shots, you invest in your community and you become part of the family. Our owners are committed to making a difference to their communities through Soccer Shots, and it’s an incredible honor to be named among the nation’s fastest-growing private companies.”
The annual Inc. 5000 event honoring the companies on the list will be held October 10 to 12, 2019, at the JW Marriott Desert Ridge Resort and Spa in Phoenix, Arizona. The Inc. 5000 is a list of the fastest-growing private companies in the nation. Started in 1982, this prestigious list has become the hallmark of entrepreneurial success. The Inc. 5000 Conference & Awards Ceremony is an annual event that celebrates the remarkable achievements of these companies.
