Oxi Fresh Cleaning Up New Jersey

LAKEWOOD, Colo. – Oxi Fresh Carpet Cleaning, one of the nation’s greenest carpet-cleaning franchises, is opening its newest carpet cleaning location in Secaucus, New Jersey. The newest Oxi Fresh location, headed up by Dhawal Balani, is slated to open on June 29. Dhawal’s location will service cities throughout Hudson, Bergen, Passaic, and Essex counties.

“Franchising with Oxi Fresh provides me with the opportunity to utilize the brand’s industry experience and support to provide a high quality service to my community,” Dhawal stated. “Oxi Fresh’s eco-friendly carpet-cleaning service is backed by careful safety standards designed to help protect people and their homes during COVID-19 pandemic. I was looking to get involved with a brand where my carpet cleanings and other services could help people – Oxi Fresh is the perfect fit.”

Dhawal’s experience in the business field stretches back to when he was a teenager working at his family’s business. His love for the industry eventually led him to becoming a Supply Chain Leader at Burlington Stores.

During his time with that company, Dhawal was responsible for supporting and tracking efforts to reduce costs and drive income. He was also tasked with overseeing operations in the supply chain that directly impacted the flow of product. After his experience in the corporate world, Dhawal was ready to take the next entrepreneurial step by becoming a business owner. That search for the right franchise opportunity is what led him to open a carpet cleaning location with Oxi Fresh.

“Oxi Fresh has helped me achieve my goal of becoming a business owner,” Dhawal said. “I am proud to help Oxi Fresh expand in New Jersey through my Secaucus carpet cleaning location. I’m eager to provide my communities with access to a high quality carpet cleaning service. I look forward to using my business and special sanitizing and disinfecting services to help protect the people of Hudson, Bergen, Passaic, and Essex counties.”

Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, Oxi Fresh has been providing vital services in markets across the country. Oxi Fresh’s carpet sanitizing service helps kill odor-causing bacteria in houses, and their hospital-grade hard surface disinfectant meets the EPA’s criteria for use against SARS-CoV-2, the cause of COVID-19. On all jobs, including those from this new Secaucus carpet cleaning location, Oxi Fresh operators are required to maintain social distancing, wearing the proper personal protective equipment, and following the CDC’s guidelines regarding hygiene and cleanliness.

Oxi Fresh has been a staple in the carpet cleaning industry since its inception in 2006. The brand’s oxygenated cleaning process requires roughly two gallons of water to clean a home, while traditional steam cleaners use 40-60 gallons. Oxi Fresh’s process also allows carpets to dry in about an hour, which is far less than the 12-24 or more hours that other cleaners require. The brand estimates that its cleaning method has saved the planet tens of millions of gallons of water.

“We are excited to continue our expansion in markets across the country thanks to franchisees, like Dhawal, who are looking to provide their communities with access to high quality, eco-friendly carpet cleaning,” said Oxi Fresh CEO and founder Jonathan Barnett. “I know that Dhawal and his team will provide customers with world-class carpet cleanings. We can’t wait to see what Dhawal will achieve through the Oxi Fresh brand.”
