iCode Launches Remote Learning Support Program

DALLAS – iCode, a national computer science education franchise, has launched a Remote Learning Support Program, an in-person supervised learning support initiative built to help working parents manage school closures and online classes this fall.

The flexible program begins this month at all iCode locations nationwide and offers instructor-guided remote learning classrooms where parents can drop off their children to learn in a safe, healthy and supervised setting. There will be no more than eight students per classroom and iCode will provide the necessary hardware, software, troubleshooting and curriculum assistance to children. The program allows students to take online classes in a supervised, small class setting.

“Working parents have enough on their plate, so we built this new remote learning support offering to give parents peace of mind,” said iCode founder and CEO Abid Abedi. “This is a schedule-friendly option that hopefully builds some routine back into the lives of busy families this fall.”

The Remote Learning Support Program has flexible half-day and full-day options, and parents are able to sign their children up anywhere from one to five days a week. Children in grades 2-8 are able to participate. iCode will organize breaks and lunch time for students and all locations will follow strict CDC guidelines to ensure the safety of all students and staff. Social distancing and health monitoring will be enforced, including small class sizes, face masks, hand sanitizing, touchless temperature checks and continuous deep cleaning.

Enrollment for the Remote Learning Support Program is open now at iCode locations in Texas, Oklahoma, Arizona and Massachusetts. iCode locations are opening soon in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Idaho and Washington.
