Infographic: Difference in Achieving Life’s Goals through Employment vs. Business Ownership

North America’s Leading Career and Franchise Business Coaching Company, The Entrepreneur’s Source, Examines the Lifestyles of Today’s Employees Versus Small Business Owners

SOUTHBURY, Conn. — In celebration of its 30th anniversary, The Entrepreneur’s Source (E-Source) has created an infographic to show the difference in achieving life goals through employment versus business ownership. It also looks at the benefits of self-sufficiency in the systemized business model offered by franchise companies. The infographic can be found online at http://www.entrepreneurssource.com/blog/trends-in-franchising/entrepreneurs-source-franchise-infographic-examines-employment-vs-business-ownership/.

Terry Powell, founder of The Entrepreneur’s Source, notes that, “Approximately 70 million employees either hate their jobs or are simply there to collect a pay check.” He added, “Why not start working on your own dream, rather than working on somebody else’s? Franchising can be a lucrative vehicle for those looking to achieve their desired Income, Lifestyle, Wealth and Equity goals because it provides a comprehensive, entrepreneurial blueprint for success.”

The franchise space is estimated to exceed $839 billion in sales this year with more than 770,000 establishments that employ 8.510 million workers.* This is a $296 billion increase in sales, a 354,000 unit increase in franchise establishments and an increase of 1.510 million workers from 30 years ago.

The Entrepreneur’s Source notes that 95 percent of the prospective franchisees they work with discover new options that, on their own, they would have dismissed or never found. To help minimize franchise oversight, Powell urges anyone interested in pursuing franchise entrepreneurship to attend the International Franchise Expo (IFE), taking place June 19-21 at The Javits Center in New York City to meet with them and representatives from more than 450 franchise opportunities.

The Entrepreneur’s Source, North America’s leading career and franchise business coaching company, will have a “Village” at booth 931, where IFE attendees can meet with E-Source coaches to learn more about franchise entrepreneurship. Other franchise brands—such as AdviCoach, Decor&You, and Expense Reduction Consulting (ERC)—will also be present to share their franchise opportunity.

In addition, Powell and other executives will serve as panelists during a session on Thursday, June 19 from 3-4:30 p.m. EDT to discuss “Franchising and Diverse Communities: How to Be in Business for Yourself by Not By Yourself,” as well as a session on Friday, June 20 from 2:30-3:30 p.m. EDT titled “Franchising: Dispelling the Myths.”
