Buff City Soap Accelerates Into Central Kentucky

Kentucky-Buff City Soap is bringing its handmade bath and body products to scent lovers across Kentucky as it continues to open Soap Makeries in the state. Locations in Georgetown, Lexington and Frankfort plan to open in late September and October.

The brand – which was founded in Tennessee - has undergone rapid expansion throughout the South, recently opening several stores in the Louisville area. The four new Kentucky stores will open in the following locations:

Lexington, KY: 2337 Sir Barton Way next to Bonefish Grill in the Hamburg Pavilion. This store will open the last week of September.

Georgetown, KY: 120 Marketplace Circle Suite 120A next to Roosters in Kroger Marketplace. This store will open the first week of October

Frankfort, KY: 1303 US Hwy 27 South, Suite 108 next to Sun Tan City and behind Starbucks. This store will open the first week of October.

Lexington, KY: 2450 Nicholasville Road next to Noodles & Company. This store will open towards the end of October.

“Buff City Soap will provide such a unique customer experience to Central Kentucky,” stated Lauren Trimble, District Manager of Central Kentucky stores. “We know the residents of Lexington, Georgetown and Frankfort will fall in love with our outstanding 100% handmade, plant-based bath and body products.”

Each Buff City Soap store offers more than 30 customizable scents across dozens of handcrafted soap products; including its famous soap bars, bath bombs, foaming hand soap, and even laundry soap. The brand’s products are crafted by local artisans at the in-store Makeries, which allow guests to customize the scent and ingredients used in the process to create a unique profile.

“Buff City Soap’s up-close-and-personal soap-making process makes people feel even more connected to our products,” said Trimble. “Every time our guests walk into our stores they will get an entire experience which will keep them coming back.”

Founded in 2013, Buff City Soap has created a high quality alternative to commercial soap products full of harsh chemicals, detergents, animal fats, and sulfates. By giving customers the chance to see the whole making process live in each Soap Makery, Buff City Soap is disrupting the consumer goods industry by focusing on transparency of ingredients and process.
