DALLAS – Being first to market has its benefits, and MADabolic is showing just how strong that advantage can be as it continues its rapid expansion.
Today, the original strength-driven interval training franchise announced a multi-unit franchise agreement that will result in three locations opening in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. Joining the MADness, local Dallas resident and accomplished sales professional Gregg Vincent has inked the deal. Showcasing a drive and charisma equal to that of the unmistakable MADabolic identity, Vincent embodies the healthy, active lifestyle that reflects why members have become enamored with the brand. He intends to leverage his experience in business leadership to create a thriving MADabolic enterprise with the three locations, including the development of a management team that will run operations along with him.
“You just don’t see this kind of experience on strength-driven interval training anywhere else. I’ve seen it firsthand, the gym’s come alive with an addictive energy that has resulted in the creation of the most unique culture in the fitness industry,” said Vincent, who has held executive-level positions with large Dallas-based corporations. “As a program that you can do at age 22, 32, 42, 52 and keep going, we welcome those that bring the right attitude and a desire to challenge themselves. I know DFW residents are ready to reveal their inner athletes like never before.”
The forthcoming Dallas locations build on the concept’s initial Texas presence in Austin. MADabolic also signed franchise agreements for multiple units for both the San Antonio and Houston markets. There are currently a dozen of the brand’s signature strength-driven interval training gyms in development throughout Texas. For high achievers looking to be part of a unique fitness culture, MADabolic will soon conquer the Texas Triangle to help those fit for the MADlifestyle to become their personal best.
“Everything is bigger in Texas…so we know we have to come out of the gates strong in Dallas. Gregg is just the right brand ambassador to do that,” said Brandon Cullen, co-founder and chief concept officer of MADabolic. “There is no one better to introduce the region’s high-achieving fitness enthusiasts to our dynamic brand.”
Founded in Charlotte, N.C. by former professional hockey players Cullen and Kirk Dewaele, MADabolic’s distinctive interval system is crafted entirely around work-to-rest ratios, which presents a challenging-yet-accessible environment for each client. Each trainer-led, 50-minute class includes a detailed description of the workout, an in-depth demonstration of each movement and a carefully structured warmup to match the specific demands of the daily workout. Fostering a results-driven culture of members who place a high emphasis on structure, accountability and results, MADabolic believes in the benefits of daily routine.
Even prior to the pandemic, MADabolic’s operations were designed in a way that allows for it to be COVID compliant. MADabolic has always been known for its clean structure and spacious footprint. At one-and-a-half to two-times the size of competitors, the training floor allows for easy social distancing, and the class structure provides a minimum of six to 10 feet between each client. Each location ranges from 3,000 to 4,500 square feet and the classes have always been capped at 20 to 25 clients. This provides adequate traffic patterns and safe spacing between members and trainers.
The signed agreement in Dallas comes as MADabolic continues to strengthen its nationwide presence through franchising into key markets across the United States, including Arlington, Atlanta, Austin, Charlotte, Washington D.C., Houston, Milwaukee, Pittsburgh, Raleigh and Silicon Valley. The brand is actively seeking qualified franchise prospects with a genuine interest in strength and interval training, as well as a connection to their local wellness community. They should also be willing to be hands-on with their business and confident in their ability to make it stand out in their market using the tools, support and resources provided by the MADabolic corporate team.
Ideal MADabolic franchisees are driven and passionate individuals that their members can look up to as role models, ranging from former elite athletes to everyday fitness enthusiasts.
