BODYBAR Pilates Strengthens Core Executive Team

DALLAS – BODYBAR Pilates (BODYBAR), the DFW-based studio concept that offers a modern take on Reformer Pilates, announced today the hiring of two new leadership team members, each with accomplished professional backgrounds. Nicole Petitto has been appointed BODYBAR Live Product Manager and Kyle Engelbrecht has been named Franchise Training and Development Coach.

“We’re extremely excited to welcome Nicole and Kyle to the team. They will play vital roles in elevating the BODYBAR brand,” said Matt McCollum, CEO of BODYBAR Pilates. “As we continue to expand our presence – both physically and through our digital training platform – Nicole and Kyle will help us refine our processes and further distinguish an experience for our members and franchisees that is exclusive to BODYBAR.”

Petitto brings over 15 years of fitness industry experience to the BODYBAR team. Most recently, she held the Senior Group Fitness Programming Manager role at Equinox where she established the global strategic vision and point of view for three of their group fitness verticals: Barre, Pilates and Dance Conditioning. With her extensive background in class concept design and expertise in talent mentorship, Petitto is well-equipped to take on a consulting role with the team and elevate the BODYBAR Live program to new heights.

“I feel privileged to work alongside a team that supports programming innovation within the digital space and is equally eager to showcase a creative point of view around their Pilates programming on the BODYBAR Live platform,” said Petitto. “I look forward to producing a balanced, challenging, creative and results-driven workout experience for our existing and future BODYBAR Live community.”

Prior to joining the BODYBAR team, Engelbrecht worked for a moving services company in Fort Worth where he oversaw software development, training, vendor relations and more as Vice President of Operations for the company. In that role, Engelbrecht also launched a training program for new employees and assisted in the ongoing coaching and development of team members. Engelbrecht will use his skills to guide new BODYBAR franchisees through onboarding, training and development as the brand’s new Franchise Training and Development Coach.

“What I admire about BODYBAR is its ability to create communities of people who respect and care for each other,” said Engelbrecht. “As I work with new franchisees, I’m excited to play a part in facilitating that community within each studio.”

The addition of Petitto and Engelbrecht to the BODYBAR team comes amid an already exciting year of growth for the brand. BODYBAR has signed franchise agreements to extend into Boston, Atlanta, Salt Lake City and Kansas City. Plus, locations are slated to open in Keller, Texas and Alpharetta, Georgia in early 2021.

Using core Pilates principals, each 40 to 50-minute BODYBAR Pilates class is designed to provide a full-body workout that is high-intensity, low-impact and perfect for increasing flexibility, muscle strength, posture and boosting overall health. Whether a member is a 70-year-old wellness guru, a 40-something working parent, or a 25-year-old who is just getting started, the BODYBAR workout can be customized to meet everyone’s personal fitness goals.
