CLEVELAND – Solidifying its standing as the number one franchised lawn care provider in the United States, Weed Man USA sold 89 franchise territories last year, bolstering the company’s annual revenue to nearly $73 million, more than doubling its revenue from 2009.
Recently named one of the nation’s best franchise investments by both Forbes.com and Entrepreneur magazine, the fast-growing franchise network is on track to achieve substantial growth once again in 2015 with an estimated 15% percent increase in system-wide sales.
“While there is an uptick in lawn care and maintenance spending across the country, our growth has primarily been driven by our franchisees who are continuously increasing sales through superior customer satisfaction and retention,” said Jennifer Lemcke, COO of Turf Holdings, Inc., the company that owns the expansion rights for Weed Man USA. “Beyond increased revenue, we expect our strong interest from independent landscape and pest control business owners will promote significant expansion of our brand. Many are joining our franchise system as a viable means to diversify revenue streams and ensure the long-term value of the business.”
As part of its commitment to the industry and continued expansion, Weed Man USA will be exhibiting at the Green Industry Expo in the Kentucky Expo Center from October 22 – 23, (Booth No. 5019). Lemcke and other company representatives will be present to meet with attendees regarding ways to capitalize on consumer demand and share the franchise’s rapidly increasing success. She will also be participating in a Town Hall panel discussion with other top industry leaders on October 23 from 9:45 – 11:15 a.m. EDT at the Expo Center.
