Digital Doc Offers New Prognosis for South Carolina Digital Devices

Prominent Tech Repair Brand Signs Agreement With Local Entrepreneurs to Open Eight New Stores Across the State

GLENVIEW, Ill. – It’s just what the doctor ordered – for digital devices in South Carolina, that is. South Carolina residents can soon say “goodbye” to absurd mobile phone insurance deductibles and unnecessary replacements, and “hello” to taking back control of their digital devices.

Digital Doc, the nation’s leading retail store for certified, pre-owned devices and the premier destination for cell phone, tablet and computer repairs, announced today that it has signed an agreement with local entrepreneurs Matt Flemming and Johbe King to open eight repair stores in the state. Currently, there are two locations open and operating: one in Columbia at 4546 Hard Scrabble Road, (Inside Family Video), and a second in Mauldin at 203 E. Butler Road.

Digital Doc’s team of highly trained tech experts will continue to provide South Carolina residents with solid expertise, trustworthy recommendations and top-notch repair services to extend the lives of their aging or broken digital devices or provide affordable options for certified, pre-owned items. The locations are planned to open throughout 2017 and 2018.

“We couldn’t be more excited to open additional locations in South Carolina. Unlike other repair stores, Digital Doc will repair any digital item – including computers, cell phones, tablets and more. Residents will be able to bring any of their tech repair questions to our team of experts,” said Flemming. “We look forward to continue building a strong sense of trust with the community when it comes to device repair and replacement options.”

Prior to signing on as Digital Doc franchisees the two were in the financial services and insurance industries. They saw the opportunity to invest in the profitable tech space and decided to expand their entrepreneurial portfolio by purchasing the Columbia and Mauldin locations and signing on for an additional eight others.

“We’re thrilled to have Matt and Johbe in our franchise family,” said CEO Levi Dinkla. “Their business acumen and prior financial experience will undoubtedly have a positive impact on running their business and the franchise system as a whole. We can’t wait to see how they continue to grow the brand throughout South Carolina.”

Digital Doc empowers customers with the knowledge that allows them to know their options and make informed decisions about when to repair, replace, recycle or resell aging or broken technology. Committed to providing customer service and customer education that is unparalleled in the market, Digital Doc’s teams of experts receive thorough and ongoing training on all of the latest devices and digital technologies to ensure repairs are done in an expedited manner.

In addition to addressing the technology needs of customers, Digital Doc also provides support to small businesses in the communities it serves. For smaller businesses without the support of a dedicated IT department, Digital Doc serves as a reputable solution to hardware problems or equipment repairs. Many Digital Doc locations also service local public and private schools in their communities.

Digital Doc is one of five brands owned & operated by Highland Ventures Ltd., a privately-held family business based in Glenview, Illinois.
